On the afternoon of 11/08/2026, Tay Do Steel Co., Ltd. held the 2026 finished steel customer conference with the participation of the Board of Directors, distributors, and partners from many regions nationwide. The event was an opportunity for the company to share its business direction, listen to the market, and announce important plans for a new development phase.

Overview of the 2026 Finished Steel Customer Conference held at Tay Do Steel
The focus of the conference was the direction to refocus resources on the domestic market, increase consumption of domestic construction steel, and prepare for a plan to expand production scale in Can Tho in the coming years.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh – Head of Business Planning Department of Tay Do Steel presented a plan to adjust the product distribution structure.
The domestic market is opening up significant room for growth thanks to public investment, transport infrastructure development, and urbanization. These are factors driving demand for construction materials, while also creating opportunities for domestic manufacturers to strengthen their supply capacity.
On that basis, Tay Do Steel has identified a gradual reduction in export proportion, prioritizing production capacity for the Vietnam market and aiming to build a more proactive domestic supply source.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh presents the plan to adjust the product distribution structure at the conference
One of the goals announced at the 2026 finished steel customer conference is to raise domestic consumption output from about 3,000–4,000 tons/month to 10,000–15,000 tons/month in the near future.
This is a significant growth step, requiring synchronized coordination among production capacity, distribution system, logistics, and trade policy. Therefore, Tay Do Steel's localization strategy focuses not only on output but also on building a supply system suitable for each market region.
Alongside short-term goals, the company is also studying a long-term investment plan to expand production scale in Can Tho, targeting billet and construction steel capacity of up to about 500,000 tons/year in the coming years.
This expansion plan is expected to create an additional foundation for the Tay Do Steel factory to meet demand for construction steel in the Mekong Delta region as well as neighboring markets.

At the conference, Tay Do Steel shared many transformation plans and the company’s long-term development orientation
In addition to market orientation, Tay Do Steel continues to maintain its finished steel portfolio serving many construction and industrial demand groups.
The grades of deformed steel bars produced and supplied by the company include SD295, SD390, GR40, GR60, CB300-V, and CB400-V, meeting TCVN, JIS, and ASTM standards.
For CB400-V, Tay Do Steel has completed the full documentation in accordance with international standards, ready to bring the product to market and meet the needs of construction projects in the Central and Southern regions.
In addition to deformed steel bars, the company is also oriented toward developing large-drawn wire rod from 2.5 mm. With self-produced billets and the ability to roll steel coils weighing over 1.5 tons, this solution aims to optimize production efficiency and price competitiveness.

The finished steel portfolio at Tay Do Steel continues to be maintained and diversified
A notable point at the conference was the consensus from trading units in expanding the domestic construction steel market.
These commitments show alignment between the manufacturer and the distribution system in expanding the domestic construction steel market. At the same time, this is also the basis for Tay Do Steel to be more proactive in production planning, inventory, and goods allocation.
In case demand increases suddenly beyond current capacity, the company said it is ready to cooperate in processing with reputable units to ensure supply and maintain consistent quality for products under the Tay Do brand.
To support the distribution system, Tay Do Steel also announced solutions to improve delivery operations.
The company is implementing direct delivery to distributor warehouses, while also researching and expanding a system of transit warehouses in several key areas. These storage points give agents more options to receive goods in their business area, instead of depending entirely on picking up goods at the factory in Tra Noc Industrial Park.
The 2026 finished steel customer conference is not only a meeting activity between Tay Do Steel and the distribution system, but also an occasion to announce the development orientation for a new phase.
From adjusting market structure, increasing domestic consumption output, diversifying products to investing in a new factory and improving logistics, the announced plans all aim at one common goal: enhancing supply capacity and better meeting the needs of the Vietnam market.
For agents, distributors, and contractors seeking sources of domestic construction steel, Tay Do Steel continues to expand its product portfolio and supply capacity to meet needs by region, output, and technical requirements. This is also the basis for the company and its partners to build long-term cooperative relationships on the foundation of quality, transparency, and mutual development.

Mr. Huynh Trung Quang - General Director of Tay Do Steel expressed determination, together with distributors and customers, to cooperate more closely in the upcoming journey.

After the conference, the orientation for developing the domestic market has been established more clearly. With its production base in Can Tho, a diverse product system, and a large-capacity investment plan in 2027, Tay Do Steel is gradually preparing for a new growth phase.
Not only focusing on increasing output, the company aims to complete the entire supply chain from production, products, logistics to the distribution system. Thereby, Tay Do Steel continues to strengthen its role as a steel manufacturing enterprise in the southern region and expand its ability to serve the Central market in the near future.
