If someone thinks that a steel company is only about smoke, machinery, and the bustling sounds of production, they would be surprised when stepping into the ecological Aviary area of Thep Tay Do – an “eco-garden” in the center of the factory, where nature and industry coexist in harmony.

Within the cool green space of the Aviary, birdsong echoes clearly while Koi fish swim gently beneath the crystal-clear water. Natural sunlight filters through the canopy, bringing a sense of relaxation and balance amidst the dynamic production environment.
The Aviary is a testament to Thep Tay Do’s efforts in building a friendly workspace where industry and nature are harmoniously integrated.

The breath of nature inside a steel factory
Meticulously invested and designed, the ecological Aviary of Thep Tay Do covers a total area of 380m² with a height of 7 meters. It is crafted as a lively natural landscape painting in the heart of the factory campus. The structure is harmoniously arranged with ornamental birds, greenery, a Koi pond, and an artificial waterfall, creating a soothing and nature-friendly environment.
The entire structure uses galvanized steel frames and anti-rust stainless-steel mesh to ensure durability, safety, and ventilation. The transparent polycarbonate roof maximizes natural light, creating an open, bright, and airy space.
Inside the Aviary is the shared home of dozens of ornamental bird species such as Hwamei, Oriole, Bulbul, Fairy Bluebird, Magpie Robin..., along with more than 30 types of ornamental and fruit trees arranged in a multi-layer ecological model.
The upper layer features large shaded canopies where birds perch; the middle layer includes soft greenery like Peace Lily, Monstera, Japanese Bamboo; the lower layer consists of lush grass, foliage, and vibrant ferns such as Peacock Fern and Cuphea.
The Aviary is not only a landscape highlight but also represents Thep Tay Do’s sustainable and environmentally friendly development orientation toward ESG standards — where the company considers environmental, social, and governance impacts in all production activities.

The Aviary is one of the projects created to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary. Completed on October 15, the ecological Aviary has since become a favorite resting spot for employees and visitors coming to Thep Tay Do.
More than just a scenic corner, the Aviary has become a part of the spiritual life of Thep Tay Do — where people find balance, relaxation, and inspiration amid the dynamic industrial environment.
