
On November 21, 2025, at Thien Minh Hall, the Thep Tay Do Trade Union successfully organized the Trade Union Congress for the 2025–2030 term with the participation of the Party Committee, the Company’s Board of Directors, the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union, and union members from various units.
This important event aimed to summarize the previous term, elect a new Executive Committee, and set orientations for activities during the 2025–2030 period.
The Congress commenced solemnly with the Flag Salute ceremony, followed by the election of the Presidium and Secretariat to conduct the Congress in accordance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union. The Program and Regulations were approved, creating a foundation for the Congress to proceed scientifically, transparently, and in compliance with procedures.
The Thep Tay Do Trade Union currently has 460 members, achieving a 100% participation rate among employees. The report presented at the Congress highlighted several positive results in representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of union members.
Ensuring employment and income
The Trade Union closely coordinated with the Company’s Leadership to maintain stable employment, ensure income, and uphold employee welfare during a period of heavy fluctuations in the steel market. The average income of employees increased steadily over the years.
Occupational safety and hygiene
Employees were fully equipped with protective gear, received periodic safety training, and worked in an increasingly improved environment. Many technical initiatives were recorded and applied to production.
Social welfare – support for members
The Trade Union built and repaired 30 houses for disadvantaged members and provided practical assistance to those suffering from serious illnesses or workplace accidents. Emulation movements and cultural–sports activities were organized regularly.
Evaluation of the Executive Committee’s performance
The report clearly outlined strengths, pointed out shortcomings, and proposed solutions for the upcoming term, ensuring transparency and responsibility.
Union members engaged in lively discussions on key topics such as amending the Trade Union Charter, improving welfare, enhancing working conditions, upgrading meal quality, providing skill training, and expanding support programs for disadvantaged employees. All opinions were recorded to develop the orientation for the 2025–2030 term.
Comrade Vu Truong Son – Vice President of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union – praised the achievements of the Thep Tay Do Trade Union during the past term, especially in caring for workers’ livelihoods, organizing emulation movements, and coordinating with the Company’s Leadership to ensure employment, income, and labor safety. He commended the solidarity of employees and the Executive Committee's proactive efforts in welfare activities, assisting disadvantaged members, and implementing improvement initiatives that deliver practical benefits to workers.
Entering the 2025–2030 term, he requested that the Trade Union continue promoting its representative role, strengthening dialogue with employers, enhancing member training, boosting emulation movements, and applying digital transformation to union activities.
On behalf of the Company’s Leadership, Mr. Huynh Trung Quang – General Director of Thep Tay Do Co., Ltd. – congratulated the Congress and highly appreciated the Trade Union’s contributions in supporting management, maintaining production, and caring for employees’ livelihoods amid fluctuations in the steel industry.
He affirmed that employees are the foundation of the Company’s growth; therefore, the Leadership always prioritizes working conditions, welfare, and labor safety. He also acknowledged the Trade Union’s close coordination with management in fostering technical innovations and building a strong corporate culture.
The Leadership hopes that the Trade Union will continue to accompany the Company, strengthen cohesion, and encourage creativity and responsibility among all employees. He believes that the new Executive Committee will uphold its role and contribute to the sustainable development of Thep Tay Do.
The Congress conducted the election in accordance with regulations. The Vote Counting Committee worked seriously and transparently, announcing the results to all members. The new Executive Committee was introduced, committing to firmly representing members' rights, innovating union activities, and strengthening coordination with the Company’s Leadership to build a united, responsible, and professional workforce.
The Trade Union Congress of Thep Tay Do Company for the 2025–2030 term successfully completed all agenda items and approved the Resolution, aiming to continue improving member welfare, building a skilled and disciplined workforce, promoting patriotic emulation movements, and accompanying the Company’s development strategy for the 2025–2030 period.
With renewed determination, the Thep Tay Do Trade Union aims for an efficient, innovative, and cohesive term, continuing to accompany all employees in building a safe, united, and sustainable working environment.
