On the morning of 25/05/2026, Tay Do Steel Co., Ltd. organized a practical visit program for a delegation of lecturers and more than 130 students majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the School of Engineering – Can Tho University. The program was a meaningful activity within the orientation of strengthening connections between businesses and universities, helping students better understand their major in practice and orient their career development after graduation.

Participating in the program were 06 instructors who are doctors and lecturers, along with more than 130 students from the School of Engineering – Can Tho University.
Mr. Dao Duy Tuan Hung – Deputy General Director of Quality Management of Tay Do Steel Co., Ltd. directly delivered a welcome speech and shared many valuable practical experiences in steel production, quality management, as well as the journey of more than three decades accompanying the company’s development.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh – Deputy Workshop Manager of the Mechanical Workshop, and also an outstanding alumnus of Can Tho University, gave sincere and practical sharing about his working process, accumulation of experience, and step-by-step career development at Tay Do Steel. In particular, the students were also able to observe the actual working process of the technical and mechanical team at the factory through the POV video: “A Working Day at the Mechanical Workshop,” thereby gaining a more intuitive view of applying specialized knowledge in a modern industrial operation and production environment.
Representatives of Tay Do Steel also introduced future engineers to career orientation, a professional working environment, and a clear development and promotion roadmap at the company.

Throughout the visit, the experienced engineers and technical staff of Tay Do Steel always accompanied, supported, and promptly guided and introduced the areas. Thereby, the students had the opportunity to learn more deeply about modern steel production technology, technical standards, operating processes, as well as safety requirements in the heavy industry, thereby enhancing their practical perspective on the major they are studying.
After the practical visit program, business representatives, lecturers, and students sat together for open exchanges and discussions about career orientation and workforce demand of the mechanical engineering – machine manufacturing industry in today’s industry.
