In response to the Month of Action for the Environment and the Summer Campaign 2026, the Youth Union of Tay Do Steel Co., Ltd. launched the program "Green Summer – Tay Do Steel Green Action 2026" from 16/06 to 31/07/2026. With the pioneering spirit of young people in the steel industry, the program promotes environmental protection activities, spreads the culture of "green living – green working," and advances sustainable production initiatives — a concrete step in Tay Do Steel’s journey to achieve its ESG (Environment – Social – Governance) goals.
“Green Summer – Tay Do Steel Green Action 2026” is implemented by the Company Youth Union
One of the campaign’s standout activities is the program "Green Saturday – Tay Do Steel." The Youth Union organized 2 launch events on 20/6 and 24/6/2026, attracting more than 120 officers and employees across the Company to participate.
Through activities such as waste collection, cleaning, plant care, and landscape improvement, the collective staff and employees worked together to clean many areas in the factory, contributing to building an increasingly green – clean – beautiful – safe working space.
The changes in the landscape, green areas, and tidy workspaces are proof of the environmental responsibility of Tay Do Steel people. More importantly, the activity helps form habits of environmental preservation and a green working culture throughout the Company.

Continuing the spirit of environmental volunteerism, on 28/06/2026, the activity “Green Sunday – Tay Do Steel” was carried out in coordination between the Tay Do Steel Youth Union and the Youth Union of Central Metal Company.
Youth union members from the two units joined forces to collect waste, clean up, and sanitize the beach, contributing to improving the landscape and raising awareness of environmental protection.
In addition to bringing direct changes to the beach space, the activity was also an opportunity for youth union members of the two units to interact, connect, and spread the message of green living, green action, and responsibility to the community, joining hands to build an increasingly green, clean, and sustainable environment.

Not stopping at environmental sanitation activities, the “green” spirit of Tay Do Steel is also clearly demonstrated through the technical innovation movement. The “Tay Do Steel Green Initiatives” program is proof of the proactive improvement spirit of employees.
The program encourages officers, union members, and employees to propose initiatives for technical improvement, energy saving, emission reduction, efficient resource utilization, and improved production and business efficiency. Within the framework of the program, several outstanding award-winning initiatives include:

These topics not only demonstrate the spirit of innovation and creativity but also provide practical solutions to use energy efficiently, reduce environmental impact, and improve operational productivity. Thereby, the spirit of “Green Action” has truly gone deeper, becoming closely associated with daily production and business activities.
After more than a month of implementation, "Green Summer – Tay Do Steel Green Action 2026" has created many practical activities, connecting the working environment with the community, and everyday actions with production initiatives. At Tay Do Steel, sustainable development is not only a direction but also a commitment realized through concrete actions, gradually turning the ESG goals the Company is pursuing into reality.
