From May 18 to 21, 2026, the Southeast Asia Iron & Steel Conference and Exhibition (SEAISI 2026) officially took place at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore. Joining the business delegation led by the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA), Tay Do Steel Company Limited was honored to attend as an official Delegate — a testament to its proactive spirit of integration and steadfast commitment on the journey toward green transformation and sustainable development.

Overview of the SEAISI 2026 Conference & Exhibition in Singapore
The SEAISI Conference and Exhibition is the region’s leading annual prestigious event, organized by the South East Asia Iron & Steel Institute. This year’s edition brought together a large number of steel manufacturers, providers of advanced technology solutions, economic and technical experts, and representatives of steel associations from many countries in the region and around the world.
Under the globally relevant theme "Forging a Sustainable and Smart Future for ASEAN Steel", this year’s agenda revolved around three key topics:
Developing "green steel," reducing emissions: transition roadmaps to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
Adapting to the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM): solutions for transparent greenhouse gas data to meet the stringent standards of international trade.
Smart manufacturing: low-emission metallurgy models together with methods for deeply integrating digital technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and automation into operational lines.

At the event, the delegation of the Vietnam Steel Association made a strong impression by actively chairing and coordinating many important thematic discussion sessions. In particular, the national report on Vietnam’s steel industry presented by the delegation’s representative received high praise from the international professional community.
In step with that wave of innovation and integration, Tay Do Steel was proud to be present at this regional-scale forum. Representing the company was Ms. Hoang Khanh Trang – Deputy General Director of Internal Administration.
"Accompanying the Vietnam Steel Association and standing among the delegates at SEAISI 2026 is a great honor for Tay Do Steel. This is not only an opportunity for us to affirm the position of a Vietnamese brand in the regional market, but also an extremely valuable chance to connect and learn, bringing new perspectives on trends and modern technologies in the metallurgical industry" – a Tay Do Steel representative shared.

"Green steel" strategy toward the Net Zero goal
In recent years, Tay Do Steel has gradually implemented orientations aligned with the green development trend of the global metallurgical industry: building a "park factory" model, installing a 1.8 MWp rooftop solar power system, and participating in the Vietnam – Denmark Energy Partnership Program (DEPP3). Alongside improving productivity, the company is researching the application of energy optimization solutions and clean materials, aiming ultimately to realize the Net Zero goal and meet the strictest green standards of the international market.
Pioneering AI application, building an electronic office
Not stopping at the factory production lines, Tay Do Steel has also made breakthroughs in internal digitalization. The company focuses on developing a modern electronic office model while deploying advanced artificial intelligence software to automate technical calculations and control data in real time across all operational activities. This is the solution for optimizing resources and increasing efficiency and transparency throughout the supply chain.
